Investigation Works in Occupied Units

LDM Scanning were instructed to carry out investigation works to 3 individual shop units and 1st floor offices at Oxford Street, London to an exiting 1960’s building.  Work was carried out outside working hours so there was no disruption to businesses located within the premises.

On behalf of our client, LDM acted as Project Manager liaising with shop fitting and Asbestos Contractors and our clients security team.

Investigation work consisted of:

  • Concrete scanning to floor slabs to determine reinforcement and slab thickness.
  • 150mm core drilled to confirm slab thickness and concrete strength.
  • 600 x 600mm access hatches cut in plaster board ceilings to enable survey of ceiling void.
  • Trial pit to confirm ground strata and party wall foundations.
