Client looking to verify the presence of any delamination and or voids within the existing structural elements.
Survey Methods
Scans were performed using the Hilti PS250 Ferroscan to the face of the column to determine reinforcement bar diameter size, cover and layout. Determining the rebar layout and cover assists with data interpretation when using the Pundit PD8050.
Once rebar location was determined further investigations were performed to the structural elements using the Pundit PD8050 Ultra Sonic Pulse Echo to determine possible delamination and or voids. Calibration and settings were taken from column size and rebar cover.
